Hi Eliza, happy Spring Equinox from someone living in Autumn Equinox. I haven't heard of The Wheel of the Year before so you bet I'm going to go on a deep dive! Having said that, I've always felt close to nature and in touch with the seasons too. I've been finding new ways to incorporate the seasons into our home which has felt really lovely so far. I enjoyed hearing about you're freshening up your studio practices for spring. Do you find your art practice changes with the seasons?

Thanks Renee and Happy Autumn Equinox to you!

Same here - and I think my art practice does change seasonally, and geeking out on the Wheel of the Year holidays right now is helping me tune into and analyze that further, I think. It's been fun!

Thank you! I'm not surprised your art practice changes seasonally too! I'd be super keen to hear more about what you find as you tune in and analyse and as the seasons keep changing. Glad to hear it's been fun! Happy creating and looking forward to reading your next posts :)

I really resonate with the idea of leaning into natural rhythms. And especially the idea of bringing the work into the sunlight. Also, cannot wait to hear about your class…something to look forward to. 🌸🌞

Yes!! Bringing art out isn't something I do often, but I'm getting the bug. Will let you know how the class goes! 🌷thanks K

I have recently begun hula dancing and love it! It is so refreshing to begin something new that is uplifting to your body and spirit.

Living with a chronic illness I feel the same way. Definitely have to shorten the day which is so bothersome, but trying to push through makes me feel much worse.

It sucks, doesn't it? But totally agree, pushing through is far worse. I definitely plan on some future sharing of a few things I've learned to change in my practice to make more space for differing abilities and disability. thanks Cheri!
